His career has spanned 57 years encompassing TV, Movie & radio and his phenomenally successful autobiography, “Pete Price – Name Dropper” was number one for 3 months in the North West book charts.
Pete Price is quite simply a talk show legend who has been broadcasting to the people of Merseyside for over 50 years. His late night talk show on Radio City has earned him 27awards and the biggest accolade was to be inducted into the Radio Academy Hall of Fame. He was also honoured by Liverpool as a Citizen of Honour.
Pete has featured in the TV shows such as Brookside, Moving On, Mrs Browns Boys and many variety shows. He also had a cameo in the movie No Surrender (1985).
Pete’s theatre work includes 32 pantomimes starting alongside Cilla Black, Pamela Anderson and many more. A show was written about him called ‘Pete Price is dead’, which was launched at the Royal Court Theatre where he has just feature in a new play for 2025 called ‘The Peaceful Hour’.
Pete is a high profile figure locally and is a national and internationally known face as a regular guest paper reviewer on Sky News, GB News and the Jeremy Vine Show. He still works as a stand-up comic and is in high demand at venues across the UK and Europe. He writes his own column in the Liverpool Echo each Thursday and has a very successful podcast "The very best of Pete Price" and in his spare time is a patron of Claire House a children's hospice on the Wirral.
