Pete the Singer
It’s hard to say where Pete’s passion for music came from but we know it started at an early age. His on-stage rendition as a six year old of the wartime classic “Tiddly-Winky Woo” alongside a group of girl dancers would be a good place to start! As Pete grew up, his love affair with singing grew with him. When Pete sang as part of the choir at St. Hildeburgh’s Church in Hoylake he dreamed of performing on the big stage.
Pete lived through the glory days of big club cabaret nights and has fond memories of singing at the legendary Fagins in Manchester and The Shakespeare Club in Liverpool. The dream was realised a few years ago when Pete appeared in the spotlight on the ultimate stage – The London Palladium.
All these experiences inspired Pete to compile a CD of his favourite tracks performed in his own distinctive style – Pete Price “Through the years”. Listen below:
